Bottom line

Worksome is an external workforce platform for sourcing, engaging, classifying and paying contractors, freelancers and agency-supplied talent in one flow. Compliance (IR35, US 1099/W-2, 150+ countries), global payments, private talent pools, vendor management and reporting are included on every plan, alongside Worksome Intelligence AI assistants. Pricing is quote-based — a share of contractor spend or a flat subscription — with no per-seat fees, plus add-ons such as AOR, EOR, extended compliance and premium support.

Frequently asked questions

How does Worksome actually price the platform?

Two models, and you choose one: a percentage of your total contractor spend, or a flat annual subscription. There are no per-contractor licences and no per-seat fees, and internal seats plus talent-pool contractors are unlimited. Final pricing depends on contractor volume, the countries you operate in and which add-ons you switch on, so every quote is tailored. An implementation fee applies and is always agreed up front.

What is included in the core platform versus a paid add-on?

Core includes sourcing and private talent pools, built-in worker classification and compliance, global payments, vendor/agency management, reporting, the API, integrations and the Worksome Intelligence AI layer. Paid add-ons are the situational capabilities: Agent of Record, Employer of Record, Extended Compliance, Prepay & Factoring, Advanced Approval Workflows, Multi-Entity Management (Enterprise Org) and Premium Support.

Can Worksome handle compliance and payments outside our home country?

Yes. Worker classification runs on every contract across IR35, US 1099/W-2 and local rules in 150+ countries, with audit-ready documentation and misclassification indemnification on classified engagements. Payments reach 150+ countries and all 50 US states, gross or via payroll, with invoicing and approvals in one flow. Prepay & Factoring lets contractors be paid in 0–45 days while you settle in 30–60 days.

What integrations and API access do we get?

Native integrations include Workday, SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Greenhouse and Lever, with connectors for NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Google Docs and Sheets. There is a public API, a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server so AI assistants can query and act on workforce data, webhooks for any event, and SSO via SAML. Custom integrations are built on request.

Do we have to replace our existing VMS?

No. Some customers retire a legacy VMS and run everything on Worksome; others keep the VMS for high-volume agency temp labour and use Worksome for direct sourcing, classification, compliance and global payments. Worksome also integrates with most VMS platforms, so you can add the direct-engagement and payments layers without disrupting existing configurations.
