Frequently asked questions

How is ChartMogul priced?

Pricing is based on the ARR tracked inside ChartMogul, calculated from your active subscription data. Pro covers up to $10M ARR and includes unlimited team members; Enterprise is custom-negotiated for companies above $10M ARR or with high data volumes. Annual contracts are required. Startups under $120K ARR can contact the vendor about a Free plan, and a Startup Program offers a $50 per month discount for 12 months.

How quickly can we get to trustworthy numbers?

ChartMogul runs a 14-day trial with your own data connected after a short scoping conversation, and its team handles the hard part: importing and cleaning historical billing data, mapping multiple billing systems, fixing proration and currency edge cases, configuring dashboards and reports, and training your team.

Does it replace our CRM or data warehouse?

No. ChartMogul includes a subscription-centric CRM with opportunities, sequences and connected mailboxes, and syncs with CRM sources such as HubSpot and Intercom (Salesforce is listed as coming soon). For analytics, it pushes metrics and data to S3, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure and Google Cloud, alongside CSV exports, APIs and webhooks.

What security and compliance does it carry?

The security page states SOC 2 Type II certification and GDPR compliance, with TLS in transit, encryption at rest, annual penetration testing and continuous code review. The platform is hosted entirely on AWS in the EU (eu-west-1). It does not claim ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP or PCI-DSS; card data stays with Stripe and Recurly.

How does ChartMogul handle AI and our data?

AI features run through Amazon Bedrock using Anthropic Claude and Amazon Nova models in EU-only AWS infrastructure. The vendor states your data is not used to train, fine-tune or build AI models, data is not sent directly to model providers, the assistant is read-only and cannot create, edit or delete data, and existing account permissions continue to apply. Conversation history is stored in ChartMogul's infrastructure and can be deleted.

Can we access our data programmatically?

Yes. The pricing page lists access through REST APIs, the vendor's MCP server and standard CSV exports, and the integrations page documents sources, destinations, email connections and metrics connections, plus custom sources your team builds yourself.
