What compliance certifications does Render hold?
Render's security and trust page lists SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, GDPR DPA and HIPAA, and certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework including its UK and Swiss extensions. Can AI agents manage our Render infrastructure?
Yes. Render ships an official hosted Model Context Protocol server at mcp.render.com, with plugins and OAuth setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex and Cursor, plus API-key authentication for CI and other tools. Supported actions include creating web services, static sites, cron jobs, Postgres and Key Value instances, triggering deploys, updating environment variables, and querying logs and performance metrics. Access should be scoped deliberately because the server can perform destructive operations, and some configuration options are not yet supported.
What support is included, and is there an SLA?
