There is a Free plan (500K MAR for connections, 3,500 MAR for activations, 5,000 monthly model runs) and a 14-day trial for the account and for each new connection. Annual contracts discount up to 22%, and Enterprise License Agreements offer a fixed annual price. Fivetran Professional Services are optional.
How long does it take to get to value?
Connectors are pre-built and set up in a few clicks, so most teams can validate value inside the 14-day free trial; every new connection also gets 14 days of free use. Schema drift handling, retries and scheduling are managed by the platform, which removes most ongoing pipeline maintenance and is where customers report the largest engineering-hour savings.

Can we keep data in our region or run Fivetran in our own environment?
Yes. Connectors run in the US, Canada, EU, UK, Australia, India and Singapore, and you choose the processing location per destination. Enterprise customers can also pick the cloud provider (AWS or GCP); Business Critical adds a specific cloud region, private networking options, customer-managed encryption keys and a hybrid deployment that processes data in your own environment.
Does Fivetran train AI models on our data?
The vendor pages reviewed do not state whether customer data is used to train AI models, so treat this as unconfirmed. Fivetran does state that data is not accessed without customer approval and that customer-managed keys let you revoke access at any time, and it offers regional processing and hybrid deployment.
