Pricing is a flat monthly rate by volume: Hobby ($24/mo, 25 transactions, 1 user, 1 jurisdiction), Startup ($41/mo, 250 transactions), Business ($83/mo, 1,000 transactions) and Growth ($124/mo, 2,500 transactions), all with unlimited users, jurisdictions and integrations. Above 2,500 transactions per month you move to a quoted Enterprise plan. A transaction is any sale, refund or purchase recorded in the app. There are no overage fees — if you exceed your limit you are automatically upgraded to the next tier.
How long does implementation take?
Quaderno markets a quick setup: send sales data by spreadsheet, connect a payment processor or sales platform, or use the API, and it begins automating compliance. Native integrations are described as set up in minutes, onboarding calls are offered to all new users, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. Does Quaderno only calculate tax, or does it register and file for us?
Both. At the core it calculates the correct sales tax, VAT or GST on every sale and sends compliant invoices automatically. Beyond that, Quaderno monitors economic nexus and VAT/GST thresholds in real time and alerts you when you need to register, can handle the registration in a new jurisdiction for you, and can file returns on your behalf using data already in the app. Alternatively you can use Quaderno Reports to file yourself or with your accountant.
Which sales platforms and payment processors does it connect to?
Payment processors include Stripe, PayPal, Braintree and GoCardless; e-commerce includes WooCommerce, Shopify, Amazon FBA, Square and Easy Digital Downloads; course and membership platforms include Kajabi, Teachable, Thinkific, LearnWorlds, Mighty Networks, ClickFunnels, SendOwl, s2Member and AccessAlly. There are also Zapier, Xero and Jotform integrations and a French e-invoicing connection. Anything else can be built against the documented API and public OpenAPI spec.
Is Quaderno SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified, and does it train AI models on our data?
