Bottom line
DeepJudge is an AI search and workflow platform for law firms and in-house legal teams. It indexes knowledge the firm already holds — DMS, SharePoint, OneDrive, email and intranet — and makes it usable by AI agents, with permissions synchronised to source systems. The vendor reports 65 hours saved per user per year, 85% adoption in under two months and 4x first-year ROI, with named customers including Freshfields, Gunderson Dettmer, CMS and Vorys.
Frequently asked questions
What does DeepJudge do that our DMS search does not?
DeepJudge indexes content from the systems a firm already uses — DMS, SharePoint, OneDrive, email and intranet — and makes it available to AI. The vendor describes semantic understanding of documents, so lawyers can ask natural-language questions across matters and client files, and the same index can power AI workflows and agents. Access permissions are continuously synchronised with the source systems, so users only reach authorised information.
How long does implementation take, and must we migrate data?
The vendor states there is no complex implementation and no data migration; DeepJudge indexes existing sources in place. It reports 85% adoption in under two months at customer firms and quotes a customer describing real benefits from day one. Buyers should still plan for security review and connector configuration.
Where is our data hosted, and is it used to train AI models?
DeepJudge can run in the vendor's cloud, the customer's cloud, or on premises, with a choice of AI model and data residency. The security page states DeepJudge does not train on customer data, and that data is encrypted in transit and at rest with strict access controls and continuous monitoring. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification are claimed.
Do we have to standardise on one LLM provider?
The vendor describes its agentic reasoning as LLM-agnostic and says customers run their choice of AI model in their choice of residency. DeepJudge has also announced a partnership with Harvey. The site does not publish which model providers are used by default, so that should be confirmed during evaluation.
How is DeepJudge priced?
DeepJudge does not publish pricing, plan tiers or seat minimums. It sells through demos and enterprise agreements, so commercial terms must come from sales. Ask about deployment and residency choices as well, since these can affect cost and contract structure.
