Positioning guardrails
Best for
- Teams that need real-time, two-way sync between Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, Salesforce, Azure DevOps, GitHub or Freshdesk
- Organizations with complex, multi-directional sync logic that template-based integration apps cannot express
- Companies that want no per-user or per-transaction fees while running many connections inside one integration
- Enterprises migrating issue or ticket data between platforms with zero downtime
Ideal size: 50-1,000+ users people · Scale-up or enterprise with ITSM, DevOps and service-desk teams
Not for
- Simple one-way data pushes already covered by a native connector or a short API script
- Buyers who want fully no-code setup with no configuration or scripting ownership
- Teams unwilling to run a 30-day trial and, for ServiceNow or Salesforce connectors, talk to sales before budgeting

Bottom line
Exalate is a real-time, two-way sync platform that keeps work items aligned between systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Zendesk, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Freshdesk, Freshservice and Asana. It is priced per integration, not per user or transaction, with plans sized by active items in sync and unlimited users and connections. Aida AI helps configure and troubleshoot syncs. Common uses are cross-company escalations, ITSM and DevOps alignment, and zero-downtime migrations.
Frequently asked questions
How is Exalate priced?
Per integration, not per user or transaction. Starter is $85/month billed annually ($100 monthly) with 25 active items in sync; Scale is $280/month annually with 100 active items; Pro starts at $550/month annually and depends on connectors (ServiceNow, Salesforce and Azure DevOps Server carry higher base pricing); Enterprise is custom with unlimited items. Prices exclude applicable add-ons, and each integration can be on its own plan.
How long does it take to get value?
The vendor offers a 30-day free trial with full feature access and up to 500 synced items. You install the connector in each system, then build a connection in Basic, Visual or Script mode; straightforward two-system syncs are typically live within the trial window, while complex field mappings and multiple connections take longer. Aida AI is positioned as reducing configuration effort.
Does Exalate replace our ITSM or development tools?
No. It synchronizes work items, comments, attachments and custom fields between systems you already run, such as Jira, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Zendesk, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Freshdesk, Freshservice and Asana. Each side keeps its own tool, users and licences; Exalate enforces the sync rules and field mapping between them.
How is data secured and shared?
The vendor describes a single-tenancy model, TLS 1.3, JWT-authenticated transfers, a shared secret between instances and authentication delegated to the underlying platforms, so credentials are not exchanged. Access control decides what each side sees, and the vendor publishes a security whitepaper and trust center. Buyers should request current certification evidence during evaluation.
Can we run many integrations and connections?
Yes. You pay per integration (a connection between two unique system URLs) but can create unlimited connections within it for different teams, triggers and field mappings at no extra cost. Enterprise adds multi-integration pricing for larger networks, extra environments, data residency and managed services. The vendor states unlimited users on every plan.
What support is included?
All customers get community access and documentation; licensed customers get ticket support. SLA differs by plan: no SLA on Starter and Scale, Standard SLA on Pro, and Priority SLA on Enterprise. Managed Services, where the vendor builds, monitors and maintains integrations under agreed SLAs, is available on demand. Exalate does not publish a fixed 24/7 support commitment.
