AI business app builder: one prompt becomes a hosted app with AI agents, automations and workspace memory in one living workspace.

By Taskcade Inc. · HQ San Francisco, California, United States · 3.0/5 Value-Position score (estimate)

Positioning guardrails

Best for

  • Founders and operators who want a working CRM, dashboard or client portal from a plain-English prompt
  • Small teams and agencies without engineering capacity that need AI agents plus automations in one workspace
  • Ops teams that want 100+ integrations and durable workflows without adding a separate automation vendor
  • Agencies needing white-label branded dashboards, client sign-in and custom domains (Business and above)

Ideal size: 2–50 people · Small teams, agencies and ops groups without a dedicated engineering team

Not for

  • Regulated workloads handling PHI, cardholder data or government identifiers — Taskade says it is not certified for regulated data
  • Buyers who require a completed SOC 2 Type II report or ISO 27001 certification today
  • Enterprises needing FedRAMP, tamper-proof audit logs or prebuilt compliance report exports
  • Teams wanting a code-generation tool that outputs a repository rather than a hosted app

Bottom line

Taskade Genesis is an AI app builder from Taskcade Inc. One prompt produces a hosted business app — CRM, dashboard or client portal — wired to workspace data, deployable AI agents and durable automations over 100+ integrations. It runs on TSK-1, routing 15+ frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and open-weight providers. Free covers 2 users; Pro is $10/mo with 10 users and 50,000 monthly AI credits; Business $25/mo; Max $100/mo. A hosted MCP server ships on paid plans.

Frequently asked questions

What does Taskade Genesis actually produce, and do we need developers?

Describe the work in plain English and Taskade Genesis builds a hosted app: a CRM, dashboard, client portal, booking system or internal tool. Each app inherits the workspace as its database and can include AI agents and automations. No code or deployment is required; apps publish to a Taskade URL, or to a custom domain on Business and above. Free accounts can keep up to three apps.

How is Taskade priced, and what does AI usage cost?

Free: 2 users, 3 apps and 6,000 one-time AI credits. Pro is $10/month billed annually with 10 users, unlimited apps and agents, and 50,000 credits per month. Business ($25/month) adds custom domains, SAML SSO and 150,000 credits; Max ($100/month) adds 400,000 credits; Enterprise is custom with SCIM, BYOK and a custom SLA. Extra credit packs run from $5 for 9,000 credits to $50 for 125,000, and pack credits never expire. There is no implementation fee.

How long does implementation and time-to-value take?

Setup is self-serve. Taskade says most integrations connect in a few minutes and the developer API's first call takes about two minutes, and a first app can be generated the same day. No partner-led deployment or implementation fee is required. Larger rollouts mainly involve identity setup (SAML from Business, SCIM on Enterprise) plus agent and automation design.

Can we use Taskade for regulated or sensitive data?

Be careful. Taskade states it is a general-purpose product, is not built or certified for regulated data, does not scan for or redact sensitive data, and has no HIPAA Business Associate Agreement. SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and GDPR alignment are described as in progress rather than complete, and no SOC 2 report exists yet. It does offer AES-256 encryption, workspace isolation, role-based access and SAML SSO, and states customer data is never used to train AI models.

Which AI models power Taskade, and can we bring our own keys?

Taskade routes to 15+ frontier models through its TSK-1 layer, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and open-weight providers such as Qwen, DeepSeek and Kimi, with model choice per agent and per automation step. Enterprise adds BYOK so you can connect your own OpenAI and Anthropic API keys. Some providers are based outside the US, including in China, so your model choice determines where a request is processed.

Does Taskade connect to our existing stack?

Yes. The Automations engine ships 100+ connectors including Slack, Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, GitHub, Notion, Airtable, Jira and Linear, plus webhooks and HTTP requests for anything with an API. Premium connectors such as Gmail, Slack, Stripe and Salesforce require a paid plan. A hosted MCP server lets Claude Desktop, Cursor or VS Code read and write the workspace on any paid plan.
