Bottom line

Free Basic plan, $14/user/month Business and $35/user/month Enterprise, with SSO, SCIM, HIPAA workspaces and admin-controlled MCP. Works with Zoom, Meet, Teams and in-person meetings, with integrations into Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Salesforce and an official MCP connector.
Frequently asked questions
How does Granola avoid sending a bot into our meetings?
Granola runs on desktop and mobile and uses your microphone and computer meeting audio to transcribe in the background. You start it manually; it does not auto-join or auto-record, and no bot appears in Zoom, Meet, Teams or any other meeting app.
What does Granola cost for a team?
Basic is free but limits history to 30 days. Business is $14 per user per month and adds unlimited history, advanced AI models, pre-meeting briefs, integrations and API access. Enterprise is $35 per user per month and adds SSO, SCIM, HIPAA-compliant workspaces, audit API, workspace-wide retention and admin controls for MCP and sharing.
Does Granola train AI models on our meeting data?
Granola states it does not allow third parties such as OpenAI or Anthropic to train on your data. Granola itself trains on anonymised/de-identified data, and you can opt out in settings per user; Enterprise workspaces have model training off by default and admins can enforce a workspace-wide opt-out.
Is Granola ready for an enterprise security review?
The vendor cites SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA-compliant workspaces, SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, audit API, a DPA, configurable transcript retention and auto-deletion, and encrypted storage in a US-hosted AWS VPC. Audio is deleted after transcription and MCP access is off by default for enterprises. FedRAMP and ISO 27001 are not claimed.
How fast can a team get value from Granola?
Users download the app, sign in with Google or Microsoft and start a meeting in minutes, so first production value is typically same-day. Pre-meeting briefs, follow-up email drafting and integrations such as Slack, Notion and HubSpot sit on the paid Business tier.
